As a Brazilian living in the UK, I understand the challenges of navigating food and body image in today's diet-obsessed world, including the added pressures of living abroad and the potential for using food as a coping mechanism. My journey to food freedom began with a seemingly harmless childhood habit: cleaning my plate, even when I wasn’t hungry. This instilled a pattern of overeating that stayed with me for years. When puberty hit, my overeating led to weight gain, but the real struggle didn’t start until I moved abroad at 28. Navigating a new culture was stressful, and the easy access to convenience foods triggered emotional eating. I felt completely out of control with food.
Desperate for a solution, I turned to diets, but they only provided temporary relief, never addressing the underlying issues. Then, I discovered intuitive eating. It was a revelation. IE taught me to trust my body’s wisdom, honour my hunger, and rediscover the joy of eating without guilt or restriction. It also helped me distinguish between physical hunger and emotional hunger, and to release the guilt and shame I carried around food. That’s when I finally found peace with food.

My passion for helping women find food freedom is rooted in seven years of experience working with hundreds of clients. Each woman's journey has taught me something new, giving me a deep understanding of the challenges and triumphs involved in breaking free from diet culture. I've seen the power of intuitive eating to transform lives, and I'm committed to using my expertise to guide you on your path to lasting food peace and body confidence.
